The World’s Fare: Food, Music, Art & Sumo
Citi Field – Flushing, NY
Capturing all the excitement of the ’39 and ’64 World’s Fairs in Queens, but switching it up to focus on the borough’s diverse cuisine, music and art, The World’s Fare comes to vibrant multi-culti life at Citi Field. It all starts with New York chefs, restaurants and street food vendors — representing as many as 100 cultures — who’ll be offering their specialties for sale. Adults can also hit the beer garden, which includes craft-beer tastings from around 45 breweries and a souvenir mug, via a special admission ticket. Plus, you and the family can check out world music from live bands, art installations featuring Lego and street art, a variety of vendors and special demos by a world-champion Sumo wrestler.
